Masters

This intermediate course is designed for drivers that want to take their driving skills to the next level. Continued development on the Skid Pad, Braking and exercises is designed to build on the fundamentals learned during the introductory courses. Drivers focus on refining their techniques in open lapping sessions. The programs starts with instructor lead/follow sessions in the morning of day 1. The afternoon begins with a one-on-one session with instructors and then open lapping. Day 2 is open lapping and continued development of driving fundamentals and car control skills.

 

*Prerequisite – successful completion of a Precision or Performance Course or approval based on your driving resume. Drivers must be 21 years or older to participate and possess a current, valid driver’s license

Skills development includes:
Handling Dynamics Learn the importance of weight/load management in performance driving and discover the difference that braking technique, throttle management and steering input have on the handling dynamics of a vehicle.
Throttle Steering Practice the technique of transferring weight to the front and rear of the vehicle. Learn to correctly use the throttle in order to get the vehicle to respond.
Trail Braking Develop Trail Braking skills by learning the right way to release brake pressure while turning into a corner. This technique transfers weight toward the front of the vehicle to load the front tires and aid in turning ability, and maximizes the tire capability.

Masters Form On occasion, we allow students to bypass our Introductory level programs and start with our Masters Intermediate course.
